The self-controlled triple-effect concentrator is a recently developed intelligent product from Tongxie Company. It incorporates intelligent digital display and automatic control of temperature, liquid level, steam pressure, vacuum, material density (concentration), as well as automatic feeding and paste collection. All controls are managed by a PLC control board, and all technical parameters are shown on a computer screen.
The programmable fully automatic operation process helps reduce problems caused by human error, such as material runoff due to excessive vacuum or pressure, boiling over, and coking due to excessive steam temperature—all of which can affect product quality. This equipment helps alleviate concerns about safe production, while supporting safe operation, product quality, and energy efficiency, and it improves production capacity. Benefits
1. Energy-saving benefits: Based on the SJN-1000 model, it saves approximately 3,500 tons of steam, 90,000 tons of cooling water, and 80,000 kWh of electricity per year, equivalent to RMB 100,000–150,000 (compared with single-effect units).
2. This concentrator adopts an external heating natural circulation type and vacuum negative-pressure evaporation, which offers a high evaporation rate and a high concentration ratio (up to 1.2–1.35 for typical Chinese medicine extracts), and eliminates the need for open-pot extract collection.
3. This concentrator uses dual-effect simultaneous evaporation, which utilizes secondary steam, thereby reducing boiler investment and energy consumption. Compared with a single-effect concentrator, energy consumption is reduced by 50%, and the total investment in this unit can be recovered within one year through energy savings.
4. All parts that come into contact with materials are made of AISI 304 stainless steel, complying with the requirements of the Pharmaceutical and Food Hygiene Law and GMP standards. The equipment has an attractive appearance, and the heater and evaporator are provided with an insulation layer. The insulation layer is finished with matte stainless steel, giving the equipment a refined and professional look in the workshop layout.
